There are four basic cassette problems:
1. Tape breaks in the middle
2. Tape releases from the reel at the end
3. The felt pad falls off the metal guide
4. Lubricating strip causes tape to jam
Our cassette tape repair service addresses these common failures, allowing your recording to be safely restored and prepared for conversion. We repair your tape for only $20 and then proceed with conversion and remastering processes.

Once your tape is repaired, we proceed with our premium cassette-to-CD conversion process. This is a multi-step mastering service that is completed manually, rather than through automation. We create a digital recording of your tape, remove hiss and hum, enhance clarity, balance volume levels, separate tracks, name tracks, and apply compression or normalization as needed.
Your one-time mastering fee includes making a digital copy of your tape,
performing noise reduction, audio enhancement, track separation,
track naming, compression, and/or normalization. This Premium Service
is a multi-step process, and no shortcuts are taken. Expect premium results!

In addition to standard cassettes, we offer expert micro cassette repair for dictation tapes and specialty recordings. Micro cassettes are especially delicate and require careful handling and precise repair techniques. Our technicians have the expertise necessary to restore these smaller formats, allowing them to be safely converted to digital media.
Micro cassette repair is available for $35 per tape and is handled with the same level of care and professionalism as all our cassette tape repair services.
